"My recent stay at Novotel Suites Yogyakarta Malioboro was truly one of the best hotel experiences I have had in Indonesia. From the moment I arrived until the day I checked out, everything exceeded my expectations. The hotel perfectly combines modern luxury, Javanese hospitality, comfort, and an unbeatable location right in the heart of Yogyakarta. The first impression matters, and this hotel did not disappoint. The check-in process was smooth, fast, and professional. The staff welcomed me with genuine smiles and warm Indonesian hospitality. They were polite, helpful, and always ready to assist with any questions. Every staff member I met — from the reception team to housekeeping and restaurant staff — showed excellent service standards. They made me feel valued and respected as a guest. If you need help with tours, transportation, or recommendations, they are very knowledgeable and supportive. "Great hotel"

"This so far has been the worst hotel during our long trip to Asia. The hotel is closed to a mosque and everyday we were woken up at 4:30 am during the praying call. It was not disclose to us and to anyone who is a light sleeper it was not so good. I didn’t have a good sleep for my tour the next day and end up with a huge migraine. The hotel does have a policy to charge you for extra towels. I’ve never been to a hotel that charges extra for towels!!!"

"There is constant noise pollution and rooms are not sound proof. The rooms are in need of a makeover and serious deep clean. Areas such as the bathroom shower had green buildup and toilet seats were beige in color from age. Two of the major issues that I encountered in my two week long stay at the property was poor wifi service and inconsistent hot water availability. These are major problems that the hotel management needs to address."

"I booked 3 rooms in this hotel for me and my sisters…we asked all 3 rooms to be on the same level and it’s no problem at all for the hotel…we had nice time and all the staff are very friendly and polite. We had a ‘bit’ of confusion at the end of our stay but Ken, the duty manager on the day had explained the confusion and he handled the minor incident very professionally. Thank you, Ken…you are an asset for Jambuluwuk Hotel Malioboro for your outstanding hospitality! All our rooms are clean and always have all the amenities. Nice location as it’s near Malioboro! Highly recomended for all of you who wants to visit Yogyakarta with your family."
