「The best hotel in Braga」

「Ok I think the hotel is short staff! We went to the pool and no attendance to give us towels! Another couple said no one was at the bar to give them a drink! 」

「Hotel is centrally located, and staff were helpful and kind. The mattress was visibly old, with one side being lower than the other. There was no fridge or minibar in the room (it was unplugged), but they refrigerated my meds for me. Great location for exploring Braga! Several nearby restaurants and sites of interest. 」

「We crashed at the Pousada Mosteiro de Guimaraes mid-afternoon after a morning exploring Guimaraes. We were almost at the end of our two-plus week trek. We were ready for down time. We spent a lovely afternoon walking the grounds, swimming in the beautiful pool [allowed though the pool wasn't yet officially open], having drinks on the terrace, and having dinner in the hotel restaurant. It was a delight.」

「The staff warmly welcomed us upon arrival, it was a nice first expression of Braga, a really lovely place. When checking in, the staff would provide the breakfast menu for the next morning for reservation and we loved everything we ordering, the bread, the yogurt, meat and cheese selection, we even ordered more and the staff would check the availability and offer the food you like to have more. All the staff we approached speak good English, offering excellent service and help us a lot during...

「This hotel does was it says on the tin. It is definitely a 3 star and I miss the tea/coffee facilities in the room! There are no spare plug sockets to charge electrical items. We were lucky and got given a room on the 4th floor which had a balcony. This hotel is very close to the old part of Braga and so extremely convenient. Breakfast is basic and choice is limited but it is fine to start the day. Parking is very limited however there is a public car park close by and relatively cheap.」

「The grounds were beautiful. The days were cool and rainy so we did not use the pool but it was great to sit around. The breakfast was awesome and the wait staff were excellent. The room was very large and clean. Loved our stay.」
