"Pool is very small . Mostly kids in it. Hot tub small as well mostly kids in it. Coffee shop needs to be open later 7to 11 are weird hours had to leave property for coffee after 11 am Maybe a continental breakfast . The game room was so small as well you can’t shoot pool and play video games at the same time. No bar . Really nothing to offer but a room to be honest . We had to leave the property for everything. Not close to the lake at all ."
"Holy WOW - what a GEM! A treasure and a great deal...a steal. There is so much to recommend about this place but I don't even want to spoil the surprise for you. I can best summarize with the words "welcoming, affordable, charming, soulful, clean, convenient, and community-proud."
There is truly only one thing I'd hope to improve: there were 3 pillows on my King bed and they were HUGE. Essentially 3 body-pillows, with so much body my head felt propped up on them. I'm not a picky pillow person, either.
In retrospect, I should have gone down to the incredibly kind and helpful woman working the front desk and simply asked if she had a regular bed-sized pillow for me.
But listen - seriously. It hardly sounds like a problem. The place is a delight and such a $ deal. I hope you pick this place, whoever you are."
"The check in staff did an amazing job, however there were only 3 staff at 4:45 (check in started at 4) and the line was huge with multiple issues as it seems the property was sold out and some third party sites had oversold rooms so it took around 45 minutes to actually get checked in. Our room was in the back tower and while the room was very clean and comfortable there was only one working elevator for the whole tower during our stay. We were on the 4th floor and were able to swing stairs when needed but it was very inconvenient. The gym facilities were very clean and the equipment was fantastic as was the cafe downstairs for coffee and breakfast."
"Stayed at Sierra cabin towards the back of the property (of note, Yurts are at a different location just down the road). Very clean, friendly staff, very relaxing grounds. Patrons were all respectful during our stay and everyone seemed to value the collective feeling of serenity/peace. Excellent supplies in terms of all needed utensils in clinic, only negative was regarding spice rack, some were expired but really not enough of a negative to take away from the experience. We shopped at S. Lake Tahoe Raley's just about 20 minutes up the road and cooked dinner/breakfast ourselves. Plenty of great little fun spots on site, including swings overlooking the property, fire pit, bag toss games/Jenga/etc. Would stay again definitely."
