We dint stay at the property.. the hotel was in a very bad shape.. it happened to be a scam by rating it as a 5 star hotel..rooms were smelling bad of toilet and there was no one to attend as st the reception.. we tried calling your helpline number but couldn’t reach through.. would like to have a refund as we dint stay there

Terrible 5* hotel

Air conditioning was not working for the entire stay and they didn't even try to fix it. The temperature in the room was about 30 Degrees Celcius. The room was booked for two people but towels were available for one. We had to call and ask for the iron and ironing board twice. In the restaurant the waiter helped us to the table and disappeared, so we had to wait for 15 minutes to get a menu., which happened to be only available in Russian. When we finally made our order everything was delivered at the same time as we asked. The waiter never came back again. No napkins or extra plates were served, so we had to get them ourselves. After getting fed up waiting for the bill, I finally went to the bar to find the entire staff watching videos on the waiters phone. Not even close to what we were hoping for on our stay durring our wedding.

We always stay in ROYAL TULIP, the best hotel in Almaty! We highly recommend this hotel to everyone for a leisure and business trip. Nice interior and extremely friendly reception. The property has spacious bright rooms with a balcony and high ceilings, solid clean furniture, high quality bedding and daily changed no matter, huge bathroom ideal cleaned, excellent service, friendly staff. This is not the first time we stay, lived for several weeks and never had any disappointments. We tried once the Ritz Carlton Almaty, but doesn't even close to 5 stars. Also be careful with the hotel nearby “Donatello”, on Expedia rating says 5 stars, in reality 3 stars maximum and very dirty. “Royal Tulip” ONLY - is the best 5 stars hotel in Almaty!

This is an incredibly beautiful hotel. Our room was nice - bed was OK, the carpet was pretty stained. The cigarette smoke of the room below us came through the ventilation system.
