Fabulous!

Fantastic hotel! The pool area is top notch, the breakfast buffet is superior with varying options every day, the room is very comfortable, and the staff are amazing. We would stay there again!

If possible I stay in Rahat Palace when visiting Almaty. The location is good, rooms nice and spacious, although age can be seen. Lobby bar is nice and breakfast very good. Staff is very friendly.

Old-fashioned hotel in a nice location with good commodities with it is highly needed a full renovation. The best of the hotel - breakfast and the lookout to mountains from some rooms.

Rahat Palace is one of the most modern buildings. The Spa was wonderful, the views were amazing, the breakfast was lovely, just wish the descriptions were teeny bit bigger. I would stay again if the price was right. It is more on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for.

Hotel is nice. Since last time I went, fitness center and spa were renovated and for me was perfect. Anyway, best part of Hotel I believe to be the staff. All of them very kind and ready to help. A special thanks to Mrs. Assem. Amazing quality manager. So helpful.

The Rahat Palace has been our favourite hotel in Almaty for some time Most of the facilities are excellent and the food and in particular the staff who are first class The one issue is that some areas would benefit from some TLC The hotel opened circa 1994 and it is fair to say that some areas would benefit from being refreshed otherwise we always enjoy our stays and will continue to do so We had some particular issues with our last stay which we addressed directly with the hotel during our stay and which were resolved to our satisfaction

They must have been perfect 30 years ago.

The hotel was an outstanding one 30 years ago. Now they just one of good ones. Management works hard to make the stay good, but staff is a bit out of ground. Thay could not help me taxi ordering for in city travelling. One more example: I paid 3 nights and did not have a single breakfast due to late arrival and early leave. At 10:35 I asked just for coffee and been refused.

Rooms are old but the hotel is very nice

The rooms are a bit outdated but has a balcony and overall very clean, it might be the best hotel in this price range. The breakfast is great and lobby is beatiful, and has a restaurant in the middle thar works late.

For the weary traveler who might have had a long journey to Almaty, this hotel is a great place to stay. Clean facilities, good food, friendly staff, and 24 hr room service. I was happy to get a cup of coffee at 430 am when I really needed it. Breakfast buffet is also very good.

I have stayed here several times. I like the hotel, but arranging transportation to and from the airport is very difficult, requiring multiple phone calls. And again on the trip, as on my last stay, the staff at reception tried to charge me again for the transportation which had already been paid -- in fact was REQUIRED to be paid -- in advance.

A very nice hotel ! I stayed 10 days. I had a beautiful suite, really large. Most of the time, I had diner at the restaurant Moné : excellente and creative cuisine. At Wine store & Grill, I had a diner only one time It was good and very well done. Large breakfast the morning at the Dzhambul restaurant. There is even a vegan buffet. A lot of choice. A cook can prepare your food on demand. I recommend this hotel without any hesitation. I will come back.
