What a great experience

What a great experience! Very special ambiance that takes you to Africa… the rooms and especially the restaurant. We enjoyed also the terrace with a beautiful view to the nature. Really sweet staff and good food. We will be back next year.

Mixed feelings..

We stayed here for two nights. We have a mixed feelings about the hotel. The location is great, right by the sea, close to many tourist attractions. We had a great ocean view both from the terrace / restaurant as well as our room in the main house. The hotel interior is unique and pretty, and all the staffs were very friendly, so everything on the surface felt great. However, unfortunately, we also had some unpleasant moments. Our room smelled very moist the moment we walked in, and the smell did not disappear the entire stay. We also found a previous guest’s underwear hanging in the bathroom. There was very limited electric plugs in the strangest/most inconvenient places to charge anything. And the room did not get cleaned / the bed did not get made on the 2nd day.. overall, it’s an okay place but I’m not sure if we can fill heatedly recommend it..

Rundstykker eller ej

Slidt hotel, som har lavet det til en “ min afrikanske farm” parodi. På nordbornholm. Morgenmaden er en joke, den ansvarlige kendte ikke “rundstykker” eller anden dansk morgenmad, han foreslog blødkogte æg til bacon…😵‍💫. Det var en “oplevelse” at gæste dette ** hotel? Prisen var til gengæld for høj til indholdet. Men alle var søde og rare ….. det er bare ikke nok.

Dejligt hotel, vi var dog ikke klar over at vi skulle bo i guest house ved siden af hotellet. Havde været rart hvis vi kunne se det da vi bestilte. Lidt generende at der hele tiden er højt og lidt specielt musik i spisesalen.

Min første undren ved dette ophold er at vi ikke fandt en eneste medarbejder der snakkede dansk. Det kunne man forvente hvis man var i København, men ikke på Bornholm. Værelset var okay i størrelse, men lugtede af svamp, camoufleret med duftpindei hvert et hjørne. Svært at bedømme om rummet var rent da det er så mørkt og dunkelt. Badeværelset var stort og nyrenoveret, men bruseslangen gik fra og blandingsbatteriet virkede ikke korrekt. At der ikke er TV/radio på værelset kan jeg bebrejde min egen research. Jeg har bare aldrig oplevet at der ikke var det. Morgenmaden var dejlig, og det hiver helhedsindtrykket op, men 2800kr for en overnatning er alt alt for meget for det man får. Og lidt spøjst at rende rundt blandt alle de udstoppede dyr. Det er lidt anderledes at sidde og spise morgenmad lige ved siden af et dyrekranie.
