"If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful get away... this is the place. The resort is small with only about 25 rooms. It's a bit dated but rooms were spacious, clean and the AC worked wonderfully well. The best part about the resort is the beach. It's absolutely gorgeous. Cruise ships drop people off at the beach from about 8:30am -2:30pm and the place goes into beach party mode with live music and beach bars. After the cruise crowd leaves, you have the entire place to yourself... literally! Staff was helpful and kind. They do sort of have an island mentality- work very slow and don't go out of their way. If you do ask for help or need something they attend to it but for as many people staffed at the resort, I would think the service would have been a little better. Regarding the food. The restaurant is a very small, buffet style but surprisingly the food changes daily with different style cuisines and was surprisingly very good with a nice variety each day. Bar services was good. They told me the coffee machine was down, but I think it was because no one wanted to go through the process of making it in the morning. It is about a 40 min drive from the West end so you need to hire a driver. Private 1/2 day island tour was $120. The only bad thing about the whole trip was the noseeums (sand fleas). If you are not prepared on the beach, they will get you good, especially in the late afternoon/ evening. I recommend moving up to the pool or out to the overwater cabanas."

"We only stayed one night before taking the ferry to Utila. I appreciated that they arranged my airport transfer to the hotel and from the hotel to the ferry. My room was near the water, but you had to walk down the sand to get to it due to construction work. This construction meant there was a lot of noise during our stay, which is why I didn't give it 5 stars. The room was quite large and clean. The bathroom was very small and could use some improvements. The food at lunch and dinner was excellent. The included traditional breakfast was decent. The place was very clean, and the staff was courteous. It was perfect for our needs, and we appreciated having the grocery store right next door."

"What a wonderful place! As close to paradise as you can get! Casual and comfortable, with no pretension. The tidal pool was perfect for swimming and snorkeling. The food was incredible! The owners, staff and the locals who frequent the place were so warm and welcoming, you come in as strangers and leave as family! Can’t wait to return! "

"Beautiful beach with a restaurant and bar. Additional restaurant on the property called wikki grill. Very tasty and cool atmosphere. The room was big. We liked the walk on closet. Good ac as well My only complaint was the mattress was not comfortable. There was a big lump right where you lie and the sides of the bed tapered so you feel like you will roll off. Otherwise the place was amazing"
