「Staff was very welcoming and helpful. our rooms were clean and I was happy with the iron, ironing board and hair dryer in the room. breakfast was great but as my partner was vegetarian he only had hash browns and beans it would be nice to have veggie sausages. we decided to eat in on our last night but was disappointed in the meal as the nan bread was rock hard and the curry was very bland with less curry and more of the boiled rice missing out the mango chutney will not be eating dinner again」
「Great location. The hotel is almost next door to the railway station. The room is clean, warm. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only drawback is that there is no lift and the staircase is very narrow, which made carrying four suitcases upstairs a real challenge.」

Nice and cosy, and run by a old couple.
The only drawback for an overall top marks is because of the shower, although it is newly installed, it is difficult to operate and the water pressure is somewhat too low to have a nice shower. The worst part is the wall inside the shower cubicle is dirty but consider the old couple are working hard to run the hotel and also the nice letters restaurants, so it is not a complaint, just would like to point it...

The food in the restaurant was very good and worth staying in for.
The hotel garden backs onto a beautiful park and is a three minute walk to cafes and shops (some of these appear to be shut on Tuesdays, but there were enough open to make a trip worthwhile).
If you have accessibility issues make sure you request a downstairs room as there are no lifts.
