"For a quick inspection, the rooms were clean. The stack was incredibly friendly no continental breakfast, but they hadn’t attach restaurant so I do understand although the pricing at the restaurant was typical for attached to a hotel. The parking lot needed a lot of maintenance very rough overall your average hotel day."

"Where do I start? Check-in, I was told I'd have to pay a cash deposit. Nothing on the booking site mentioned anything about this. Pool area. Apparently the hotel rents out their pool on Mondays for swimming lessons. I was relaxing in the hot tub when a woman and her two kids showed up with an older woman. What commenced was the older woman yelling and whistling at the kids as she attempted to teach them. The doors which are labeled "Locked for your safety" most definitely were not locked. "

"Swimming pool water was dirty. Room had soiled walls, rusted light fixtures, missing towel hook, broken mirror on closet door, soiled areas on sofa, vents were rusted & old, tripping hazard out in hallway due to a drain cover that appeared to be homemade & sticking up a good 1/2” from the floor, lobby furniture was worn out."

"Best hotel. The property is very clean and nice, like a newly completed building. Their pool and hot tub were great to relax and enjoy. Their breakfast was wondeful with variety additions like strawberry pancakes, everything bagel etc. There are different restaurants and other amenities nearby. Will definitely stay there again when visiting Des Moines."
