You get what you pay for - no staff in the ibis budget but the main ibis is literally right next door and has a bar, reception etc., there’s also vending machines in the hotel if you’re desperate. All the staff we interacted with were lovely, cleaning staff were very attentive.
The rooms themselves were fine - basic, clean, the shower door opens straight into the bedroom so be warned. One of us almost got trapped in the toilet, watch out for the dodgy lock!
Getting into the main centre from here wasn’t the easiest. While the C6 goes past the hotel, it DOES NOT pick people up from the stop - don’t waste your time with this and get the 27 instead. If you’re coming from the airport, you should be fine and they’ll let you off the bus, but if you’re on your way to the airport, walk further down the road to the stop just before the airport and the bus will pick you up from there.
Transport was the only real massive inconvenience, which the hotel can’t help obviously - overall we were pleasantly surprised with our stay after reading some other bad reviews!
p.s. wine at the ibis bar is €2.50 so make the most of that
