GREAT location, and despite being such a busy area, had no issues with noise. I was a little irritated with one thing, but that's probably a me issue. When I told them the night before I'd check out at 11, I got a knock on my door at 10:59. I was on my way out but honestly, that made me a little hesitant to return. Sometimes things happen on international trips, and if a place is that particular about the exact minute of check out, I'm pretty sure there wouldn't be flexiblity elsewhere.

Avoid this hotel if possible, unprofessional business practices. Unfortunately we never got to stay at the hotel. Our flights were cancelled due to the country wide power outage in Spain and Portugal so we had no way of getting there. Even with this was clearly beyond our control, the hotel refused to refund our payment and kept the entire 4 nights cost. I would be very careful dealing with these people. We will go to the Algarve in the future, but obviously will not use this property. I’ve traveled extensively for many years and never had a hotel have so little concern for the customer. We would have gladly accepted a stay at a later date, but that was not an option either. So disappointing.

Such a great location, easy access to shopping, bars, local museums, churches, walking distance to beach, nice apartment with daily house keeping! Very easy to speak w front desk via whats app, they even help find local sitter and got us a discount on a boat tour! Will definitely stay again!! LOVED IT!!

Staff were great, super accommodating with supplying bikes and towels and helpful in coordinating transport and recommendations. Tv didn’t work, a bit loud on the street but that’s the price of comfort in the middle of tourist shenanigans

The receptionists both named Joana went above and beyond to make our stay in Lagos very special . We got fresh oranges every day , expresso pods, they advised us where to park for free, they made us dinner reservations. They were kind , polite , informative a pleasure to be in contact with ! The propriety has a perfect location right in the old center by souvenir shops, board walk, bars and restaurants !

What a great place! It was safe, easy to find, tons of local restaurants and shops. It’s located in the hub of Lagos but not too loud. Main places to visit are nearby (walkable and driveable). The unit was very comfortable and home-like. The staff is very helpful and responsive. Highly recommend!

Loved our two-bedroom apartment with a fabulous terrace with an ocean view. Huge kitchen and dining table, very well-equipped. The location is perfect for walking to sights and restaurants. We also borrowed biked to go to the beach, so we didn't need to move our car from the garage around the corner the whole weekend!

This property was recommended to us and it exceeded expectations. An excellent location close to everything, yet quiet and private. A nice, laid back vibe with staff who go over and above. As we were arriving late evening, we were given instructions to access our unit and the staff person asked that we check in with them to confirm we had arrived without issue. Thank you.

We arrived late on a thursday night and had not booked a transfer but the hotel helped us without a problem. :) We were a couple and a friend visiting The Salty Lodge, everything from the room to the roof terrace was great. We had an incredibly good trip and would happily return to this hotel. :) We lived in apartment 1C and if you are disturbed by street noise, I would not recommend living in an apartment facing the street. It is located 'in the middle' of all the restaurants and only a few minutes' walk from the beach. We’ll be back!
