Convenient location near the old town and beach, and reasonable rates. However, don't expect too much. The room was basic and clean but needed updating. It had no air conditioning, and the hot water for the shower was cool. The shower head holder and loo flush button were loose / broken, and the continental breakfast was basic. Overall the hotel was just about ok given it's star rating, and the staff were great.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Awful hotel AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! When booking they state to email or call beforehand to arrange late check in if after 8pm, I emailed as soon as booked for a reply to say to email again on the day of arrival, I did this, as well as WhatsApping and calling, they ignored and then refused to check us in! They then put us down as a ‘no show’ cancelling the rest of our stay and refusing to refund any money back!!! This left us on the street in the middle of a foreign country the first night and then had to try and find someone to stay the rest of of our holiday and pay again despite not getting any money back for our booked stay with this hotel! On top of this, the staff were so rude, laughing in our faces when we were left stranded!!! Wouldn’t wish what happened to us on our worst enemy!!!

Bin sehr spät mit dem Flugzeug in Faro angekommen und hatte wohl das Glück, dass mir das Zimmer freigehalten wurde, da laut Rezeption die Zimmer wieder vergeben werden, wenn man nicht innerhalb der angegebenen Eincheck-Zeit beim Hotel eintrifft. Hatte die Flugdaten rechtzeitig mitgeteilt. Kommunikation mit Hotel war auch im Vorfeld sehr seltsam. Sie teilten mir WhatsApp-Adresse mit, darauf reagierte jedoch niemand.

Déçue du service

J’ai été prévenue 6 jours avant que l’établissement ne pouvait honorer ma réservation. On m’a proposé un nouvel hôtel mais j’ai dû appeler de moi même à l’étranger pour savoir comment obtenir le voucher et comment faire une fois sur place. Par curiosité j’ai fait une simulation de réservation dans cet hôtel qui était moins cher que l’hôtel de Gale et de moindre qualité. À aucun moment on ne m’a proposé le remboursement de la différence. Je suis déçue du service !

full of humidity... shower quite often cold due to their ridicolous reliance to solar panels as heating system... found several big cockroaches.... toiletry inexistant... worst of all, when you book, they send you an email asking for letting them know if you are checking-in after 20:00, providing you are telling this one day earlier. If you do it, they answer that such request can be made only on... the same day of arrival! If you do it, they answer that... any arrival after 20:00 is considered a no show!!!

This property is a con. AVOID WITH ALLLL COST. They happy to take your money. But not willing to provide a service. Dont bother emailing them. Deliberately dont answer so they can avoid allowing you to checkin. Then blame you for missing checkin. Expedia email to help you try get money back.... but No still down nearly £800. No1 is willing to take liabilities. So AVOID AVOID

Nous avions réservé pour 3 nuits, mais notre vol a été annulé et n’avons pu arriver que le lendemain matin. Quelle surprise quand nous apprenons que notre réservation a été annulée (alors que les 3 nuits étaient payées) et que nous avions tenté de joindre l’hôtel 10 fois par téléphone et envoyé 2 mails sans réponse. Une réceptionniste très peu aimable, nous disant que nous n’étions pas là pour le check in ce qui entraîne une annulation sans plus d’explications. Je demande à voir la direction qui est bien moins aimable, je ne pensais pas que c’était faisable, nous disant qu’il a répondu au mail (sans pour autant vouloir nous montrer la réponse). C’est alors qu’il nous dit de contacter expedia. Expedia tente de voir avec eux et nous dit qu’il faut attendre 72h pour avoir une réponse favorable ou non pour le remboursement et qu’il faut repayer pour montrer notre bonne foi… Nous arrivons après 20min de check in dans la chambre, déjà occupée par des clients… pour finalement avoir la chambre vidée par la réceptionniste, sale, avec des excréments dans les toilettes… heureusement que l’emplacement de l’hôtel a su relever la note car sinon, je le confirme, c’est un hôtel à fuir

Stairs, stairs everywhere. Tripped on tile busted my arm and head. Very hard trying to get suitcases in and out and no help getting them to your room . Shower drain was plugged up with hair and creating a near bath at the bottom.
