The property has stunning views and spacious rooms but lack little things like tissue or a waste basket. Our room wasn’t as clean as I expected with random hair in the bathroom. The bathroom had glass walls which is ok but a door for toilet privacy would be appreciated. The shower floor wasn’t tile but linoleum that gave way as you stepped on in. There is a restaurant and bar. Food was tasty. Did not use the pool or spa.

The hotel facilities seem quite nice, just lack of service staff. However the room we were assigned on the 1st floor does not have Wifi. The young fellow was kind enough to change us to a room on the 3rd floor, which was ok for us although it lacks certain amenities. The worst thing happened was upon the check out. We made the reservation on Orbitz and prepaid the total amount on June 9th (~a month prior). When we check out, the reception lady asks us to pay again. We showed her Orbitz confirmation email and our credit card statement showing the charge but she insists that room was not paid. She doesn’t speak or understand any English and didn’t understand email in English either. Unfortunately no any other staff was around to help. We wasted at least half an hour and were behind our schedule. We travel 4 months each year and this is the first time that we encountered such a nightmare. Either Orbitz messed up or the hotel’s system did. Anyway, I hope this will never happen again!

Os funcionários são muito simpáticos, mas poucos. À chegada o hotel estava totalmente às escuras, pensámos que estava fechado. Boa experiência

Gostamos bastante do spa, a sauna e o banho turco estavam a funcionar, a temperatura da piscina interior poderia ser um bocadinho mais alta. As espreguiçadeiras e a vista eram muito boas. Também gostamos bastante do serviço de restauração. O quarto, era dos mais simples e mais baratos, mas apenas de categoria 3 estrelas, alcatifa no chão, mobiliário antigo, a precisar de remodelação e sem produtos de higiene, ao contrário do descrito na reserva.

Magnifique endroit. La combi spa dans un hôtel perché en montagne est un must absolu. Malheureusement j’ai eu des voisins très bruyants qui ont claqué des portes et coulisser les portes fenêtres tard le soir (après 22h), l' hotel n' est nullement responsable de cela. Mais cela fait partie de mon séjour. J'ai aussi un bémol concernant la partie restaurative. J'ai commandé du saumon aux légumes, un délice, mais la tranche de saumon était bien maigrichonne. Servir une portion enfant dans un hôtel 4 étoiles m' a décue. La serveuse, à qui j'ai fait la remarque , m' a proposée de m' en offrir un second . J'ai trouvé ce geste correct. J'aurais apprécie avoir reçu des olives/ pain/ beurre vu que l' étabissement est portugais. J'ai donc été étonnée de ce manque.
