The standard of service was really good, from the young staff group especially those at reception and in food service.

Great outdoor space for lunch or afternoon tea

Quiet rooms , lovely grounds. It is a large hotel with lots of stairs and long corridors so be careful what room you are booked into if you have mobility issues

Stayed for two nights for family wedding (at another location). Manor House and gardens are beautiful. Room was large and bed comfy. Good breakfast in lovely panelled room Falls down on cleanliness (dusty in places) and generally needs a refresh /lick of paint/ new carpet in public heavy used areas.

As I arrived the sun was shining, guests were enjoying afternoon tea in the garden with the fountain behind them. The view was tranquil and inviting. The hotel is very attractive on the outside with well kept gardens and grounds. Given the heatwave we have had this year they have clearly done a lot of work to keep the flower borders interesting. The reception staff were welcoming and efficient. The room was in one of the barns and very clean. The soap dispenser by the shower had either blocked or run out which was disappointing. The buffet breakfast was well presented, just surprising that there was only tinned fruit available - where were the local summer fruits? I was visiting a friend nearby so did not eat at the hotel but the menu looked inviting. I would certainly be happy to stay again in the future.

Beautiful old house and grounds, with lovely rooms, spa, fabulous staff. Food was good and doggy friendly. Bar only for dogs for meals but that was not a problem for us as a couple but might be for bigger party. Afternoon tea in garden with scones and cream for 7 was fine though and doggies could join us!
