The hotel is beautiful; situated in the desert. It is peaceful and serene. The staff are kind and helpful. After driving 4 hours, it was disappointing that they didn't have a restaurant open for lunch.

I am very well traveled and have stayed in luxury home and abroad.I have never stayed in a hotel that was more accommodating in every way.May I suggest you visit the spa.My partner and I experienced the couples massage and thoroughly enjoyed it.The grounds are beautiful and if you can get a room with a balcony facing the mountain it’s break! The drive to Hyatt Tamaya Resort is absolutely beautiful and sets the tone for the entire stay. The scenery is peaceful and relaxing, and along the way you pass a gorgeous golf course and horses, which makes the whole experience feel unique and almost secluded from the city in the best possible way. The resort itself is massive, stunning, and incredibly well maintained. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and welcoming, which made the atmosphere feel even more relaxing. Our room was definitely a bit of a trek to get to — we absolutely got our steps in — but once we arrived, it was completely worth it. The view was epic. The room itself was spacious with two beds, plenty of room to move around comfortably, and very comfortable mattresses and pillows. The room felt bright and inviting during the day, while the blackout curtains made it easy to sleep in and fully relax. The shower was one of the highlights. Great water pressure, endless hot water, and overall just a really nice setup. There was also plenty of lighting, enough towels, and extra bedding readily available, which made the stay feel thoughtful and comfortable. Overall, this resort felt relaxing, scenic, and luxurious without feeling overwhelming. We would absolutely stay here again.
