The Royal Picardie is a great option for staying on the Somme and it being walking distance into Albert. The facilities at The Royal Picardie are excellent, dining area and lounge area are both very spacious and the rooms are of a good standard. The staff are great and at the time of our stay a lady called Chloe done a fantastic job between reception and the lounge bar.

A very nice quiet hotel on the outskirts of Albert within easy walking distance of the town centre. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The bar was a great place to have a late night drink, and although we didn’t use the dining room the menu looked very good.

Great Hotel & Fantastic Staff

Amazing help and very friendly staff. From the receptionists to the room attendants everyone just made us feel so at home and assisted us at every turn. The Hotel is in immaculate condition and when it’s Restaurant opens for business in November then it’ll be able to combine the complete package for residents.

Renovated in 2023, this is a delight. Very well appointed and comfortable, with easy, spacious parking, the hotel provided everything we needed. Dinner was not available in the hotel, but a 15 walk into Albert provided a choice of bars and restaurants. Breakfast was plentiful and there was a good selection to suit UK and continental palletes. Highly recommend.
