And the great Taurus Mountains in the distance. And all the lovely boats passing by. It was a very hot summer day, but the views made it worthwhile. And the sense of adventure! :)

Solo Trip

I got there as I reserved see view but provided pool view and it was the almost lower level of pool which you feel everyone can see inside your room and for a solo traveler it might be a boring room but the reception first insisted I did not reserve see view ( I charged more by this site for that room ) then when I insisted the helped me to change the room and thanks alot to Mr. Hassan for this kindness. The beds are old as you might feel the springs while sleeping. There were some roof repairment in 6 AM ( drilling ) so it was so odd ! Breakfast is such surprise (very nice and continental) . location is great . Just a quick note: if you get the safari tour in that area tell them to write whatever they say , I do not eat meat and chicken and the guy told me the will have fish in their food picture also shows but they just give a piece of chicken. also they dropped me off the jeep almost 15 min walk to my hotel

Overall it’s good. Just mini bar not cold and no air conditioner inside the room it’s not function could be not in used. Can’t sleep well because very hot.Breakfast everyday same for 4 nights over there.

We booked a double single bed fpr 2 days, we arrived and dthey gave us a room with 2 single beds and said all double bed rooms were booked even tho we made reservation for that room 3 months in advance. Recepcionist was rude and refused to offer any compromise. Given room was very old and dirty. Shower was full of mold. Breakfast was limited and they are charging extra for orange juice

My second time staying here. I was allocated room 502 on the fifth flloor as requested. Check in was super quick and I was able to get in earlier. I did have a few teething issues with my room. The mini fridge was hot and the lightbulb in the bathroom was blown. The lady on reception (I didn't get her name) was helpful, apologetic and promised to get this sorted the next morning, which she did. I did have other issues. The shower had some leak in the ceiling and was pouring on the bathroom floor. Other bulbs had gone, but I didn't report this. The room has a beautiful view of the harbour but this can be quite noisy at night. Minutes walk to restaurants, supermarkets, castle, and beach. The breakfast being the highlight. Excellent choice for all tastes. Always potato of some description, meat, and beautiful vegetable dishes on the hot items. Breads, muffins, fruit, salads, nuts, dried fruit, yoghurt etc. Fresh omelette or pancakes made for you. Juices, but the fresh orange was extra. An excellent stay as always, I will be back again next year.

Location: 5☆ there's no better Hotel in Alanya for location, you're within walking distance of every bar, restaurant, nightclub, shopping outlet and views like no other, if you're a family with young kids? I wouldn't recommend being here if you're offended by loud noise. (Anyone who says different is wilfully lying to you and the opinion should be disregarded) Food: Food has improved vastly since my last stay here and as a chef myself I know what good is and what's not, breakfast is what you come to expect in Europe as a whole (Continental, Pastries, Egg Station with medley of fruits/yoghurts) Pool: The pool is what you can come to expect in this location (Leans on the small side) but it's more than ample, it comes with a bar where you can get drinks and order food both of which are excellent. Maid Service: The maids are always a pleasure to deal with and I'd offer some unsolicited advice to many a traveller who reads this...(TIP YOUR MAID EARLY ON) it doesn't cost the Earth & 100 TL goes a very long way and you'll never complain about towels or turndowns ever again. Reception: This has seen the biggest improvement overall, its far more professional and far more professional and far more easier to deal with than the last time. It was a quick check-in/out and we had zero qualms.

Konakladığımız ilk günden beri kahvaltı olsun oda olsun havuz olsun çalışanlar hep güler yüzlü ve oldukça ilgililerdi. Kahvaltı oldukça çeşitli ve sağlıklıydı, restoranı orta-yüksek fiyat aralığında ancak yemeklerı ve tatlılarından lezzet akıyordu. Havuzu max 1.45 m ve çocuk havuzu da bulunmakta. Klor seviyesi belli aralıklarla ölçülüyordu yani sağlıklı bir ortam vardı. Bir daha gönül rahatlığıyla gelebileceğimiz bir otel.

Skønt ophold med fantastisk udsigt

Vi boede på hotel Kaptan den sidste uge i juli og havde et skønt ophold. Vi havde værelse på 2. sal med udsigt over havnen og det var helt perfekt. Der var en del støj fra gaden og de nærliggende restauranter og barer, når vi sad ude på altanen, men når vi lukkede døren derud til, var der fred og ro. Poolen var stor og ren og der var masser af solsenge. Stranden ligger kun 10-15 minutters gang derfra og tager man trapperne ned til havnefronten og går den vej til stranden, er det en hyggelig tur. Morgenmads buffeten var flot og indbydende og der var rigeligt at vælge imellem. Personalet i receptionen var servicemindede og venlige, men måske ikke så udadvendte, som vi har oplevet på andre tyrkiske hoteller. Jeg havde bl.a. forsøgt at skrive til dem hjemmefra på både engelsk og tyrkisk, men fik aldrig noget svar retur. Når det er sagt, så havde vi et fantastisk ophold og kan helt sikkert godt finde på, at komme igen en anden god gang.
