Staff very friendly and accommodating. Made the visit pleasant. Motel needs painting on walls and doors and overall repair of entire facility.TV located over side of bed//hazardous for hitting your head while accessing heater/AC. No bedside clock. No telephone. No guide on how to operate TV.

If your just looking for a place to sleep this will do the job. It's an older motel with no thrills, that needs updating. Check in went great, the bed was comfortable and the water pressure was awesome.My only real concern was that the door needed a deadbolt or just a better lock on it. I would stay here again.

Would stay here again

The Narrow Gauge Railroad Inn is an old motel right next to the Narrow Gauge Railroad. The staff was great. The rooms were exceptionally clean and we were very comfortable in the beds. The only problem we had was the drain in the bathtub when we showered. The bathtub would fill up faster than the water would drain. The price was great and I would stay here again.

The motel, next to the Cumbres and Toltec Scenic Railroad station, is an outdated twentieth century motel that needs substantial updating. On the night we stayed there, there were a lot of room vacancies which we felt was odd; especially since it is next to a nationally recognized tourist attraction. On a positive note, the rooms and parking lot were quite clean. Also, the price for each room were reasonable.

Total disaster... The motel was built in the '50s and the original air conditioner is still there. The heater did not work. The front door handle was loose. The TV had 15 channels and 4 were duplicate and 5 had static. Attempted to tighten the cable cord on the back but the threads were stripped. You have to hold the handle down on the toilet until it flushed. I would like to request a full refund to make a point that the owners are over charging for nothing more than a tent with roof. Ice machine was also broken.

We knew what we were getting especially for the price, the room was clean, the staff friendly but it is still pretty rundown. We went to ride the train and it is right next to the train depot so that was nice. Just some FYIs, not complaints, they still use actual keys, office closes from 10pm-8am, and it is a little way out of town so no dining within walking distance, but the town is only a mile away with several dining options. It served it's purpose and was really the only option in town.

Excellent overnight for the nearby Scenic Railroad

While this is an older facility, the room was clean, the bed was very comfortable and lastly it is a park at the door motel. No long hallways. The facility is very near the Cumbres & Toltec Railway station and it is convenient to restaurants in Antonito. Nice owners.
