The hotel is conveniently located to the city mall, which provides so many options for walking, shopping, eating and drinking. Also convenient is the fact that the free shuttle offered to the airport is only a 5 minute ride. The hotel has a lobby bar, that offers food until 10 pm and there is a poolside ...

I like it that it was close to the airport
When we went to Central Park, people were dancing to live local music. It was really cute
Alajuela itself was merely a jumping off spot for us, because our flights from and to NYC were late in the day. What made it special was Villa San Ignacio - lovely, restful surroundings and probably best meals of our entire trip.
Alajuela it is the best place to visit and stay in Costa Rica ,it is safe and beautiful .
We didn't really see any of the city - just drove through to get from Jaco to the hotel/airport.
If your from the states it’s not exactly your idea of a “gated community” but the whole country is that way we were fine visiting local stores and even shut down the local bar one night ( my Spanish is beyond weak) and found it to be a great experien
