"We were there only for one night, but we enjoyed everything- staff was very friendly, the tents are simple but comfortable, dinner and breakfast buffet was delicious. "Spent the one night here. Thoroughly enjoyed and overall impression was good. Having canvas tents is more authentic but necessarily means a little less comfort than the "purpose built camps" like Oryx, though more than adequate. Food is brought up from Oryx (1km away) and was pretty good. Stargazing was amazing as was watching the colours at sunrise. But the "activities" on offer are expensive - "dune bashing" for £50 was really not up to much and you could walk to the place you are taken...

The staff were very helpful and friendly to resolve this matter even though it was not their fault. I would book this hotel via other websites but not hotel.com. Staff are friendly and go out of their way to help you. The only issue was the pool the water was dark green not like the pictures and not cleaned."
