"Could not fault the hotel, staff or facilities, its what you would expect from Riu. Dubai Islands is a new developement and with Riu and Centara next door being the only two finished buildings on a large building site, there is nothing else around. Its a taxi ride to anything else,but not an issue as there are plenty outside the hotel"

"Rooms were clean and staff was professional and courteous. We checked in at 3:30am with no issues with multiple staffers at lobby and check-in desk for speed. Shuttle was right on time depending on time table provided. Breakfast was awesome with lots of options and fresh pastries and omelets made to order. They graciously provided late check-out since we had a shorter stay. "
