Returning to the Danat Al Ain Resort, formerly known as the Intercontinental Hotel Al Ain, felt like a nostalgic journey for me. Having grown up spending considerable time in this hotel, it was heartwarming to see the familiar building, now beautifully upgraded while still retaining its charm. The staff at the resort were exceptionally friendly, making my stay feel more like a homecoming. Their welcoming and attentive service truly enhanced my experience, reminding me of the many reasons I cherish this place. A standout during my stay was the Arabesque restaurant. The culinary offerings were superb, combining traditional flavors with a modern twist – a perfect representation of the resort’s blend of heritage and contemporary elegance. I highly recommend Danat Al Ain Resort for anyone visiting Al Ain. Whether you're returning like me or discovering its delights for the first time, the resort offers a unique and memorable experience, steeped in warmth and luxury.

There is a maintenance work going on inside hotel and they start from early morning, and you cannot sleep and relax all day you cannot properly sit inside room. for kids club they closed, sauna room also out of service and jacuzzi also out of service in between. so overall its not well managed we left the hotel day before our checkout due to all this and even after our checkout receive call 2 time are you ready to check out

They did not let us inside they swimming pool because we had no pcr test , and they didn’t wrote that requirement in booking policy there in site, so I haven’t enjoyed my stay there because I booked that resort to swim and chill but unfortunately we haven’t

Vi hade ett trevligt dygn på Danat. Rummet var ganska stort och med en balkong. Dock ganska osköna stolar så man kunde inte sitta så länge o njuta. Rummet skulle behövas förnyas/renoveras lite. Speciellt toaletten. Maten var väldigt god! Poolområdet lugnt o bra bara det att det fanns en hel del små minimyror som bet en så det gjorde ont. Skulle vara bra att lägga ut nåt medel o bli kvitt myrorna. Det pågick ett bröllop så väldigt hög musik spelades till kring 04 vilket gjorde det svårt att somna. Vi blev överraskade med en god tårta då min sambo skulle fylla år. Mycket trevligt! Thank you Danat for our stay and the tasty cake!

The only person good in the facility is Mr. Mahmood... rest all including all Housekeeping and receptionist were below average... they gave us a room where the table was dirty the sofa's were dirty... and when they shifted us the Ac in the hall was not working.. dissatisfied with the 5*hotel

Do yourself a favor, stay somewhere else.

The hotel is old and the rooms are outdated. The furniture is worn. The walls are very thin. We have stayed here twice and had three different rooms, each was very loud. We re-booked the hotel because it had a great rate, but we regretted it. The staff was professional, but they don't have much to work with.
