HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! AVOID. Please Read Reviews Prior to Booking. I suggest reading the Paragraph Long reviews other people have placed on the booking sites because they are Accurate with the description of the Horrible Experience of this Place. Where do I Begin with the Nightmare-ish experience of this Place.1. Rude Managerial Staff 2. Poor Communication 3. Money Hungry with all the Hidden Fees/ Misleading wordings for purchasing Traps You need to have your own vehicle to get to places. Everything is Far! maybe about 10 -15 minutes walk restaurant/Beach. Managerial staff are Rude, they don't Explain anything, only asks you to scan QR code and sign receipts. NO explanation received that Tram ride comes only every Hour and ends 7PM;The need QR codes to get in and out of the Property. Managerial staff just take your payment Do not explain rules/policy.Dining options are Misleading "ALL Day Dining" does not mean ALL day, Read the timeframe for each. They give bracelets made out of Paper for dining, No explanation about it being waterproof and needed returned. We had excursion and swimming all day. Day Pass was only Valid for 1day but they wanted the paper bracelet returned. When we said we threw them away since it was wet and valid for 1 day. They wanted to charge us FULL PRICE of each day Pass for lost paper bracelet. Made out of Paper and in the Trash. Ridiculous! Please AVOID this Place: invest extra cash for a Better experience elsewhere!

transportation to the beach was unreliable. getting to the rental was difficult and confusing; checking in was a real challenge, just knowing how to do it and where to go. The rental was really nice though.

Appartamento distante dal mare

L’appartamento assegnato era spazioso e confortevole. Ma la palazzina era lontana da tutto, anche dalla reception dove occorre recarsi diverse volte al giorno per acquistare i voucher per accedere ai ristoranti dell’hotel principale (distante 5 minuti in macchina). La struttura è pensata per clienti all inclusive e non per viaggiatori di passaggio. Il mare non è molto fruibile per le barriere anti alghe e non è abbastanza profondo per nuotare davanti alla spiaggia.

Estancia en un todo incluido sin engordar.

Dentro del complejo Bahía Príncipe de Akumal, apartamentos muy espaciosos y nuevos, buenas calidades, cocina completamente equipada. Para ir a la playa hay que cruzar la carretera, bien en coche propio o en el transporte del hotel. Para el todo incluido hay que pagar previamente. Ideal para quienes quieren disfrutar de Yucatán sin sufrir los buffets.

Unfortunately our experience in Quetzal Condos - Bahia Principe was VERY poor. The appliances in the apartment didn’t work, the microwave was broken, the air conditioning was broken, there weren’t enough cooking supplies (no bowls, no cups, no glasses, no pans or pots. We had to buy some items (cups, pots, glasses) to be able to have a proper lunch/dinner. There was no TV in the living room, only in the bedrooms. When we reported the problems (basically every day) no one could give us a solution. The last day of our stay (we were in Quetzal Condos - Bahia Principe for a week), the the people at the front desk in Bahia Principe gave us one day all inclusive to try to make our stay better. However, it was a shame that this apartment was offered for rent.

its on the Golf Side Not on The Ocean Side

We wanted to stay in Tulum. We typed Tulum and this hotel appeared. We looked at the images and we saw what was a hotel on the ocean. This hotel name on their wall is Bahia Principe and Golf. needless to say we stayed on the golf side not on the ocean side. We didn't make a fuss as Tulum was 20 minute drive from Akumal were hotel is. The apartment we had was amazing, CLEAN and the staff was great.

Piece of Paradise

We were very happy with the apartment. It looked just like the pictures. It was spacey and clean. I do have a few recommendations. First, it is worth it if you stay several days. It it is only for a day it would be better to stay at a hotel. Also, it is 25 minutes away from restaurants and supermarkets so it is best if you have a car to get around in. If you do not have a car you can take the shuttle to the other resorts and use the pools and beach area. You will have to walk about 10 minutes to the shuttle stop. Also, you have limited options for food. For about 60 USD per person per day you can get an all inclusive package for food and drinks.If you have a car you can go to Tulum and get some groceries and eat out there. It is just a 20 minute drive. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen. We really enjoyed the nice and quiet location. It is a great value for your money.
