The location is great and the marine life is breathtaking. Oblu are doing a great job protecting the marine life growing new coral gardens and educating guests on sustainable tourism. This was all why we chose the hotel but what really stood out for us was the staff and the Maldivian hospitality. Nothing was too much trouble and all requests were met with a smile. We had a great stay - thanks to everyone who made it so special.

A little piece of paradise

Absolutely loved our stay at Oblu Sangeli, it is a little piece of paradise. The rooms were incredible, the marine life and snorkelling around the island was amazing and the staff were brilliant. We had an amazing time!

Celebrated Easter 2024

My wife, my son (14 years), and myself had a wondetful 7 night visit. The staff were super friendly and supportive. Nice activities/trips was arranged på the hotel and/or the diving club. We had all inclusive which is very easy on this kinds of resorts for food & drinks. Unfortunately we really missed larger variety of fresh fish, seafood and some fruits. Overall ir was a fantastic stay and we recimmend it to anyone.

Not worth the price of 3000 Euro for 2 nights. Don’t go for just 2 days as they don’t take your stay serious. No housekeeping for 2 days, not mentioned excursions etc. Food and service in the restaurant good service and drinks at Pool Bar exceptional.

This place was heaven on earth! It was the best snorkelling I’ve ever seen! The staff were all go gracious! The food had so much variety and was absolutely delicious! I would recommend that they remind guests upon arrival to not stand or touch the coral. I saw a lot of damage and dead coral - and literally witnessed people standing on coral - of course I yelled to them to get off - but they didn’t seem to understand English. I feel that telling all guests at the arrival meeting is imperative. I would LOVE to return to this resort! 10 out of 10 for sure!

The Hotel is 5 stars and the snorkeling its amazing, costumer service the best! BUT few points to be consider: for the all inclusive just 1 buffet restaurant is included and most dishes are indian (with some burgers, pizza, pasta and 2 other options usually) the other 2 a la carte restaurants the hotel charges extra. The manager was amazing to accommodate our expectations and help to include some a lacarte visit so we could have some variation for the food. 2- make sure about your return flight from Male, the hotel doesn’t offer different time frames for the speedboat return and we ended up missing our last breakfast at the hotel because they putted us in a super early back boat which cause us frustrations. At least they could leave the island at 7:30-8am so we could have a chance to eat properly. But all that they could do to accommodate, they did for us! Special thanks again for the manager who accommodated the food situation, Sam the waiter! And the night cleaner (room 407) he was the best and leave everything in the room soo organized! Thanks for the amazing experience!

Properties asset and the beach’s were impressive, but let’s talk about the personnel which is the most valuable component for any business and service Mr Sheriff from Egypt gave us the most assertive introduction for an easy landing on the island and property he was very diligent and clear in all our questions Miss Moe for Myanmar was the most professional and lovely person in the entire island she made us very confident advising on location and pleasant places in all areas where she was working, she is very kind and respectful person Miss Sia from Uzbekistan has a natural leadership on his task she was managing all guest in a very professional manner I also saw her managing complex situation with problematic guest and she never lost the good actitud and respect she is a very good team leader Mis Edina from Sri lanka is very professional and frankly speaker she has everything in time for all customer always with a smile Mr Dilanka from Sri Lanka oh my friend he was wonderful sever he made my nights happy his suggestion always assertive he knows all the menu in all restaurants Miss Chamini from Sri Lanka this lady has gold and diamond in her hands oh my gosh I feel very relaxed during the massage therapy if you really want to visit the heaven please go to Oblu Sangeli SPA Mr Kamal is an active chef very profesional with high commitment and ownership on his task he passed for all tables asking for quality assurance, all food where OUTSTANDING, The best!

We stayed in the Honeymoon Water Villa with Pool, and it was absolutely perfect! The villa was stunning. spacious, clean, and incredibly romantic, with breathtaking ocean views and a private pool overlooking the sea. The staff were amazing and went above and beyond to make our honeymoon special, from the warm welcome to the thoughtful touches throughout our stay. The food and drinks were excellent, with plenty of variety and top-quality options. Our butler was great, very friendly and easy to communicate with! Overall it was a lovely experience.
