I think your stay at The Set hotel will be great if you set your expectations right: 1. The place is essentially a country club, with the hotel kinda feeling like an afterthought. 2. The layout of the place is a problem. The rooms are in a separate building to the lobby, with no signage anywhere. Simple signage with arrows doesn’t seem like a big ask. It took us a solid two days to catch our bearings we just couldn’t figure it out, and I have a very good sense of orientation. 3. When you call the lobby, someone might answer. They sure didn’t when we were ready to check out needing help to get our luggage to our car. 4. We had a 2 bedrooms suite which was absolutely wonderful - 2 huge beds so we could spread out.

Good morning I booked this place hoping for a pleasant experience but unfortunately it was not 1. Unfortunately there was no staff to help with luggage although the parking was far 2. House keeping did only took the trash and made the beds ( no new towels, no refill of shower gel and lotions, no replacing of dirty cups ) 3. When we tried to call the receptions number on in the QR code ( no physical phone in the room ) it was disconnected and it was late at night so we didn’t went to talk to the reception directly 3. When we address the issue with the reception the next morning she apologized throughly and promised to fix the problem but unfortunately house keeping only refill the shower gel , no new towel , no refill of body lotion , no new clean cups 4. No refrigerator in the room I would not recommend the place for anyone who want only a stay and not for the club activity 5. Very limited options for breakfast

WE had room 46, which was to the back of the hotel. When we checked in, we were told that we would be able to park right outside the room, but when we walked round to the room, there were concrete blocks preventing us from leaving the road to park outside the room. So, we parked in the road whilst we emptied the car. Downstairs was a seating area, and the toilet right off this area, which we thought a bit strange. If the toilet was used, then the consequences of the use would fill the seating area. The tea and coffee making area was also in the lounge area, but the strange thing is that there is no sink or water supply downstairs. So, to get water for the kettle, or to wash your hands after using the toilet,, you have to navigate the stairs, which are a little tight.
