This is a beautiful property - we just stayed one night passing though but it was quite memorable. We dined at the gastronomique restaurant and it was a wonderful experience. The staff was very helpful and kind and gave us a lovely tour of the property.
Incredible location and estate! Set in a vineyard, this property had amazing views, amenities and staff. We went for a couple days in between Paris and Nice, for some downtime and Chateau Le Gaude exceeded all of our expectations. We did the wine tasting, hung out by the pool and ate at Le Source and Le Art. Cannot wait to return!
One of the most beautiful hotels in Provence if not in France. Great location, beautiful rooms, friendly staff, great restaurants and cellars, everything is thought through to make your stay unforgettable!

We had a fantastic stay; room was very clean, staff very friendly and the property was amazing
Everything about Chateau de la Gaude was exceptional, including the initial reception, the exquisite grounds, the warm and spacious guest suite, and the outstanding restaurant options (including a Michelin star restaurant)!
Can't find fault with any aspect of Chateau de la Gaude!
Would highly recommend this property to any/all of our friends!!!
The hotel is beautiful, the grounds are stunning and the restaurants wonderful. We loved our stay at Château de la Gaude.
Getting there from the aiport was super easy, Uber and Bolt operate making it very convienient to get into Aix en Provence as well. The hotel had already preorganised bikes so we get cycle into the centre which was also a lovely experience.
The pool area and the staff were amazing, as was the food and the wine. We dined at La Source which was also a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The staff always went out of their way to make you feel relaxed and welcome.
The only 2 (very small) downsides are the wifi which is very intermitent and the water pressure in the shower, this was very weak at peak times. The room was otherwise beautifully appointed and we had everythinig else we needed during our stay.
The bed at this property in the duplex suite was very high quality and comfortable. The drapery did not black the room out for sleeping, and it got a bit hot sleeping on the top part of the duplex. We asked for a fan but they didn’t have one. Perfect sheets, pillows and great robes and towels. The room did not have a huge closet, no room to hang dresses. Restaurant was good, although there are a lot of bugs. Beautiful property overall, I would stay here again if in the area. Close to Chateau la Coste
Beautiful property with attentive and friendly staff. I got engaged here and it was absolutely gorgeous. The room overlooked the courtyard and the grapevine field behind it. I never needed anything because the experience was so well thought out. Plus it is close to aix-en Provence which was nice if you want to go into town.
My literal only began is that we weren’t fans of the restaurants for the price. We are Americans and my fiance is pretty picky, so it could be cultural differences or personal preferences.
Overall this place was absolutely stunning. It felt like a dream and was easily in my top best hotel stays. Every detail was perfect from the comfort of the bed to the softness of the towels. Everything was luxurious and I highly recommend staying here.
Amazing setting, and warm welcome from staff. Room very large and extremely comfortable. Very marked rug round bed, not sure why they hadn’t cleaned it as looked awful. Pool area is great with comfortable beds. Food at pool wasn’t great had a club sandwich €40 and they ran out of included French fries and sandwich was awful. Bread terrible and whole thing made us unwell so couldn’t eat in the evening. Restaurants are very specialist and not all open every evening. No access to the formal gardens which I couldn’t understand? So if you think you will have a true ‘chateau experience’ then this is not quite the case. But the area is very beautiful and property very comfortable. Wine tasting was very informative and good experience so make sure you take up the free offer.
Most beautiful setting I’ve ever been to. Classy and elegant chateau with modern art twist inside and out. Art was spectacular. It was my birthday, beautiful flowers were waiting in the room and absolutely amazing cake with champagne.
We stayed in deluxe room with gorgeous views which is worth an upgrade. The room was large with super comfortable bed. Great size bathroom with make up mirror. Ironing and washing service available on the request which is very handy. Beautiful gardens around the chateau perfect for little walks. Nice size pool which wasn’t overcrowded and spa available.
We had wine tasting which was short but perfect just to try local wine without spending all day away.
All staff from the hotel, restaurants, pool and cleaning ladies were absolutely amazing. Very friendly, helpful and professional without being snobby and over the top which made perfect atmosphere for a such a beautiful classy place.
We had dinner at le art and kaiseki, both tasting menus which are must if you love good food and
beautiful spaces even if you not staying at the chateau. 10mins drive away from the centre of Aix makes it perfect location, transport can be arranged by the chateau.
Two Michelin keys well deserved.
We definitely will be coming back in the future.
Everything about this chateau is simply magical. Special thanks to Haroon for making our stay the most memorable experience in the south of France. We will definitely come back!!
