「The home is absolutely charming! Mary and Donald were so sweet and helpful, we felt very warmly welcomed. The room was a bit small, but the bathroom was large and comfortable! Breakfast was filling and fresh, it’s clear lots of love and care go into it. The only issue we ran into was frequency of buses and trains, but if you’re willing to walk for 20 minutes to the train station you can get into Edinburgh within an hour. 」

「This was a wonderful place to stay to enjoy Stirling. We had a very clean, comfortable, spacious room. Breakfast was excellent. The location is ideal for us - a beautiful, quiet setting near a great restaurant. You could walk into Stirling but it was easy for us to use the park-and-ride bus since we didn’t want to walk. The owners are very friendly and helpful. I only wish we would have stayed longer. Definitely recommend!」

「Staff brilliant, location good, breakfast hit and miss. This is not a hotel but a restaurant with rooms. No room safe, no reception desk However it is in a good position for the Wallace tower and museum (walkable) also very near the university. Breakfast is brought to you in a basket the night before and left outside your room.
