The hotel location and staff is very nice. Unfortunately some of the facilities are a bit outdated and need more care like the bathrooms. For a 3-4 star hotel I would give a 4-5 star rating, but for a 5 star Taj unfortunately not.

Lovely hotel, great room. The chef in the multi cuisine restaurant was very attentive to the fact that our son had a severe nut and sesame allergy which was very reassuring. The bar/restaurant on the roof was not busy but the staff weren’t very attentive either. Maybe it was due to the wet weather but certainly there was a difference between the two restaurants. We did not end up eating on the roof terrace as a result. Overall it’s a lovely hotel and the staff are wonderful.
