Improvements could be made

The hotel is kept really clean, and the bedrooms and balconies have great views. Sadly the staff (Apart from the chef who was great) although pleasant have no interaction with you at all. No pleasantries and it was not until we checked out that we were asked how our we were and if we had enjoyed our stay. Interaction is so important but the staff were like robots, doing their jobs and nothing else . Saying hello how are you costs nothing, training is needed. The size of pool for the amount of people was far too small. Didn't enjoy being sandwiched in, must be awful on high season. Food wS very good in the buffet as was the two other restaurants. Enjoyed the stay but nowhere near a five star.

Cet hôtel avait tout pour être super, cependant il y a un soucis de recrutement du personnel qui n’est pas agréable, pas serviable et pas orienté solution. Durant ma semaine, la climatisation était en panne, malgré le signalement à l’accueil (qui nous donnait de fausses excuses) rien n’a été fait et aucune solution n’a été proposé pour pouvoir dormir à une température inférieur à 28 degrés (dans la chambre). C’est décevant.

Bon hôtel

Restaurants, piscines et plages sont trop petits lorsque l'hôtel est bien rempli C'est donc bruyant, c'est l'anarchie autour du self service lors des repas La 2em semaine, il y avait bien moins de monde et la situation fut tout à fait normale. Sinon hôtel de qualité, chambre propre, très belle vue. La nourriture est excellente. Très bel emplacement.

Ottimo Servizio e buon hotel

Ci sono stato 17 giorni , biaggio di coppia in Junior suite vista mare, quindi posso recensire con cognizione di causa questo hotel. Personale fantastico e molto professionale e competente, vista mare molto bella , jacuzzi sempre pulita (nelle suite), 3 ristoranti gratuiti (per le suite) + ristorante buffet di buona qualità , spiaggia privata e gratuita, piscina con bar, minimarket, noleggio auto, e molto altro. Struttura per nulla confusionale, pulita, tranquilla e dall'atmosfera molto rilassante. Ha 2 bar diversi vista mare, vicino ad Agios Nikolaus che è un simpatico paese greco con il porto turistico. Consiglio di di noleggiare l'auto in quanti nelle vicinanze non c'è nulla oltre la spiaggianche si possa raggiungere a piedi (io ho pagato 230 euro per 7 giorni direttamente in albergo, conviene di più sono pulite e non sono pignoli per la benzina). Sono felice di aver scelto il Bluemarine e saluto tutto lo staff, da Maria a tutti gli altri, ciao belli.

Un peu septique à notre arrivée l’hotel Est assez grand et les parties communes mériteraient d’être mieux décorées; mais nous avons apprécié la gentillesse du personnel, les installations, trés belle vue de la mer depuis le balcon de notre chambre. La plage n’est pas magnifique mais l’eau est transparente . Un vrai régal . Cet hôtel convient aux familles avec enfants petits ou grands et au couples jeunes ou moins jeunes . Par contre, il faut penser à louer une voiture .;

Sejour tres agreable, toute les equipes que ce soit d entretiens, serveurs, barman, animateurs, ont ete parfait, tres a l écoute de la clientèle au petit soin, tres souriant et tre aimable. Un grand bravo pour leur prestation. Le seul point negatif, est que certains touristes etrangers ne sont pas civilisés, aucun respect pour les personnes qui dorment que ce soit a minuit ou a 7h30 du matin, ils parlent tres fort dans les couloirs et s attardent dans leur conversation sans pensé aux personnes ou enfants qui dorment mais ce probleme on le rencontre dans tous les Hotels ou qu on aille. Merci a toute la team de Marina blue, nous sommes ravis et repartons pleins de bons souvenirs. Suoer hotel .

L'hotel est très bien situé, la piscine est bien avec beaucoup de transat et le bar proche. La mer en contrebas est superbe. Le buffet est très varié, jamais la même chose et très bon. Nous avons passé un super séjour dans cet hotel.

The view is amazing. Make sure you get a Seaview room or better yet a Seaview junior suite with a jacuzzi. My fiance and I would watch the sunrise while enjoying our morning coffee in the jacuzzi. The pool area is nice, although the pool isn't heated so if it's not summer it may be chilly for some people. I didn't mind it though. The food in the ala carte restaurants was overall fantastic other than a couple disappointing dishes. The staff and service was really good. We had a few problems our first night that really worried us, but after talking to the management, they really made a huge effort to improve our experience and the rest of our stay was great. Now for the bad part. The majority of the food in the main restaurant buffet is really bad. If you want good food, the buffet will upset you. For breakfast you're safe with fruit, yogurt, toast, and the omelette bar, but most of the other hot bar items are terrible. For the dinner buffet, you're safe with the salad bar items, but the hot bar items and most of the desserts were awful. I guess maybe that's a common thing with all inclusive resorts, they put effort into the ala carte food, but skimp on the quality of the buffet foods. The complimentary wine and beer is very poor quality. Also the drinks at the bars are mostly disappointing because instead of real juice for mixers, they uses syrup concentrates. If you want better quality drinks either buy a bottle of nicer wine from the restaurant or go into town.

Relaxing location and good quality food

The hotel was in a pieceful location with spectacular bieqs of the sea. The location was ideal for us as we wanted a relaxing hideaway near the beach, which was A very short 2 minute walk under the coastal road in a purpose built walkway. Lifts serve every part of the hotel, restaurant and beach too (though I don't believe the main pool was accessible via a lift, so worth noting there are a few steps to that). The food was varied, fresh and very well presented. I particularly enjoyed the wonderful salads, yogurt and the ample supply of seafood and fish. The Greek night was great too. We got involved in the beachfront stretching and yoga sessions which was great. Staff were hardworking and I personally found the hotel to be exceptionally clean. The people are a mix of ages and nationalities which we liked too. There is a public bus stop in front of the hotel that can take you to Agios Nicolaos and from there to Heraklion Airport and city and well as to Plan a for a cheap trip to Spinalonga island, the deserted ex leper colony, which was fascinating and eerily beautiful. I recommend this hotel for a peaceful holiday with plenty of local day trips available by public transport too.

Agréable séjour an crête

Nous avions choisi cet hôtel pour visiter la partie est de l'île. Nous avons passé une journée à spinalonga, visité heraclion et le site de knossos avant de partir à l'ouest à rethymnon ville charmante et agréable avec plein de petits resto dans des petites rues piétonnes très fleuries. Nous sommes allés à balos et à granvoussa ainsi qu'à elafonisi

Tres bon hôtel

Belle semaine au sein de cet hôtel, chambre confortable et spacieuse (attention pour les chambres pas loin de la reception car elles sont très bruyantes,seul point négatif), personnel très gentil et serviable. Très bonne nourriture proposée et goutue.Piscine principale d'eau de mer,petite plage juste en face
