Dirty Old Hotel with a Great View

This hotel was probably very nice 30 years ago. Now, however, it desperately needs to be renovated. The place was run down and dirty. The view is amazing and the location is great, but the hotel was badly maintained and became the low point of the trip.

Worst hotel in a very long time. Last updated at least 40 years ago. Terrible beds, and the place is totally run down.

La mer était exceptionnelle pleine des poissons, propre, la chambre avec vue sur la mer Égée inoubliable, le buffet matinal exquis; nous avons adoré la plage de l’hôtel qui conduisait avec des escaliers au fond de la mer. Cette vue magnifique de notre chambre sur la mer Égée nous l' oublierons pas! Cette taverne de "Kyriakakis" deux pas de l’hôtel et le souvlaki délicieux de "kipos" non plus!

Incredible location with wonderful staff

The hotels location could hardly be better.it is on the sea with its down deck right down to the water complete with sunloungers and service to bring you a nice cold drink. The town is 200m away with plenty of eating and drinking options, and you can easily go further afield too. All the staff were very nice and always helpful. Overall it was prefect for my couple of days away for rest and relaxation

The location of the Argo is second to none! Awesome seaside location. The hotel itself is fairly run down, but the owner, owner's family and staff are unbelievably nice and helpful! Since you'll be sitting in their cliffside chairs from sun-up to sun-down, don't worry about the room so much.

Bedre enn bildene, mye for pengene!

Vi hadde valgt hotell litt på slump, og ble veldig positivt overrasket. Det var betydelig bedre enn det inntrykket vi fikk av bildene på hotellprofilen! (Ofte er det jo motsatt.) Servicen var meget vennlig og imøtekommende, maten var god, og renholdet utmerket. Plattformene og solsenger på klippene mot vannkanten var langt fra nye, men var et utmerket sted å oppholdet seg, og et godt utgangspunkt for å bade. Vi hadde planlagt å bruke stranda på Agia Marina, men det følte vi ikke behov for. Fra hotellet var det bare en kort spasertur (200 m) bort til «hovedgata» i hyggelige Agia Marina langs en godt opparbeidet gangsti som ikke sto på kartet. Vi fikk mye for pengene, og anbefaler Argo på det varmeste!

Excellent staff, friendly and helpfull. The standard is ok, everything is slowly passing duedate but clean and nice. Very charming. We loved our balcony and the sunterrace.

The location is perfect for swimming and sunbathing. The lovely staff cannot do enough for you. It's only a short walk to the village where there are a number of shops and restaurants. The beds were very comfortable and the sheets were changed every 3 days. Beach towels were available if required.

Peace and Calm.

Rooms spacious and comfortable, highly recommend one with a sea view..truly fantastic. Plenty of shaded sunbeds on smooth rocks so you can dive straight into crystal clear warm sea...Good snorkeling too and directly outside the hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms spacious and comfortable. Village with bars and restaurants a short walk away for a change of scene. Breakfasts very good. Would recommend to anyone in need of a bit of serenity. If you want noise, lights and round the clock alcohol you'll be better off elsewhere. This is a great family run hotel. I really enjoyed my stay and can see myself going back again just to relax.

This hotel is a gem. If you are on Aegina, this is the place to stay. Mr. Demitros is the second generation owner and operator who takes a personal interest in his quests and their comforts. The hotel is light and airy with a wonderful scent of pines and the Saronic Gulf. There is good dining in the hotel, or plenty of restaurants an easy walk from the property. They have Greek music and dancing on Wednesdays and Saturdays. On Sunday they do a spit roast lamb lunch, with the tables overlooking the water. There are great swimming and sunning facilities right out the front door. The Argo Hotel is a great place to relax and get a taste of the Greek island life style.

Hôtel parfait pour une séjour relax à Égine

Un acceuil parfait et d’une grande gentillesse . Toujours à l’ecoute Et très généreu , par exemple au vue de la grosse chaleur un verre nous a été offert à notre arrivé et pour notre départ on nous a emmener nos bagages en voiture jusqu’a L’arret De bus . Les terrasses et accès à la mer son parfait et l’endroit est très calme .
