「Ghion is an old hotel, and a good option for a very affordable hotel ideally located in the heart of Addis-Abeba. The bed is quite confortable but the bathroom and the water-heating system is from another century... quite slow to get some reasonably hot water. Sound isolation is quite bad. The hotel itself is quiet, but we hear the noise of the street constantly, including some very early morning religious chants. Breakfast is included, quite nice buffet with typical ethiopian...

「On arrival they claimed they did not have my reservation... they also claimed they did not work with Orbitz. When I showed them their listing on Orbitz they did not believe it... By the way they did email me about my reservation the day before I arrived... Anyway thanks to Orbitz excellent customer service this was resolved and off course they had my reservation. 「The location is central, near the AU HQ, the personnel is very welcoming and very courteous. The premises are very clean. On the downside there is no option for breakfast. Though they do offer a good coffee 」
