Ok couple of days at Jupiter Kasanchis in Addis Ab

Good overall, my room had no plug in for my phone to charge. The tea kettle was broken, so I couldn’t make tea in the evening and morning. The place looked run down overall. I liked their massage service and gym!

Terrible experience, unhelpful staff who lied and made up stories, hotel changed my reservation without ever telling me, management refused to refund my booking, messed up my whole trip. Breakfast was subpar, shower had only one temperature (scalding hot) while tap only had freezing cold water. Room smelled, glass shower tray was broken and dangerous. Wifi is poor and kept failing, every time it took 30 minutes to fix. Room was incredibly noisy, walls were paper thin, noise from street and generator incredibly loud. There are much better hotels at same price range close by and going forward will always stay in those.

Staff were wonderful. Hotel is showing a little bit of its age. Safe area. Convenient for what I needed. For the price it seemed good value. (Not sure if it was just my room, but I got pleasant cold showers, but never actually got a hot shower.)
