La Villa has the vibe of a tropical resort, more than a hotel, with trees and foliage everywhere, even though Accra's bustling Osu urban neighborhood is just beyond the walls. For anyone visiting or conducting business in the city, it's also very well located, with ready transport and plenty of shopping possibilities nearby.

Wonderful stay at the La Villa Boutique Hotel. The staff is super. What I loved most is the restaurant at the hotel is excellent and is open 24 hours. So helpful when your plane gets in late and you are hungry. Even ordered meals to take-away when I had excursions. The hotel and stay are lovely. A great stay and a great value. I’ll be back.

I really like the location, and the room was comfortable. But the restaurant was not great, the mosquitoes made the pool area unusable, and they charge a large fee ($100) for early check in. I would also appreciate a mosquito net.

I really wanted to love La Villa, I think it was likely a great spot at a different time but unfortunately the property is pretty rundown and in need of some love. The restaurant and pool area is lovely, breakfast is great, location in Osu is also great. But the rooms unfortunately are really outdated. The shower in my room leaked into my bedroom, and I then realised it wasn’t the first time - the room had been smelling damp and there was damp/mold on the wall. The blinds broke and wouldn’t open. The iron was extremely old and dirty, leaving marks on my clothes. I ended up checking out early and moving to another hotel.

Unbearably loud Noise at 6.00am as staff memes were cutting trees directly outside our room. Other than that lovely place to stay but the noise was very inconvenient.

The rooms were clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The towels, however, were a little old and could probably use replacing. The TV satellite channels could also be reviewed, as it would be nice to have more working international channels available. One point that should be clarified on Expedia is the spa. The listing mentions that the hotel has a spa, but there is actually no spa facility on-site. You can, however, contact reception and request a massage service, and a masseuse can be arranged for one hour at a cost of around 900 GHC. which is almost double what you will pay if you order the same service by yourself from any nearby Spa. The restaurant waitresses were very friendly, welcoming, and pleasant throughout my stay. There was also a movie night by the pool on Thursday, which was a nice touch. I would personally suggest showing comedy or lighter movies in the evening rather than thriller or horror movies, especially before bedtime. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the hotel and would happily come back again

I love this property! This was my 2nd time staying at La Villa Boutique. I would stay here every time I'm in Accra if it was in the budget! lol The property is very beautiful and great for taking pictures. The staff is always kind and friendly. And I also enjoyed the food at the restaurant near the pool. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Finally, the property is located in the Osu neighborhood that is walkable with lots of nice restaurants nearby! Can't wait until my next visit!
