"The Strathburn Hotel is probably one of the better accommodation options if you are travelling between Aberdeen and Inverness. The property is conveniently located close to the main trunk road, making it an easy stopover, and it appears to be well maintained and cared for.
What really stood out during our stay was the quality of the staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful, but Sharon deserves special mention. She was exceptionally informative, approachable, and genuinely willing to go the extra mile to assist guests. Her positive attitude made a noticeable difference to our experience.
The rooms and facilities were comfortable, and overall we found the hotel to be a pleasant and reliable place to stay.
The only minor drawback we noticed was the lack of nearby shops or stores. At least during our visit, we did not come across any within easy walking distance, which could be inconvenient if you need to pick up essentials or snacks without driving.
Overall, a very good stay with excellent service, and a hotel we would happily consider again when travelling through the area."
