「While understaffed, the limited crew was very friendly and accommodating. I wish we were able to take advantage of the onsite pool, but we were informed at check-in that the pool was currently “down” or “closed”. The building is a little dated and could use some upgrades. Breakfast was great!」

「Room was clean. The staff greeted us on arrival and when leaving and re-entering the property. They had the standard breakfast available each morning…. Waffles, pancakes, cereal, muffins, yogurt, coffee and juices.」

「There were termites and not very clean. The pillows smelled like cigarette smoke. The parking spaces were too small and narrow. There was also an issue with not enough parking on the property.」

「The property itself is nice and in a good area. We won’t book through Expedia again though. They show photos of updated, beautiful condos and not the actual one you’re paying for. After we paid for the room, Vacasa (the company that manages the units) sent us the tower number and condo number with photos. It was not what Expedia shows in their photos. It looked very outdated but we decided to take a chance and still go since it was last minute. Nowhere on Expedia’s website or Vacasa’s email did...

「The property at Ocean Creek was maintained beautifully with their landscaping and outside amenities, such as the pools and access to the beach. As far as the individual condo, it was nice and clean, but the owner needs to make sure the kitchen is better stocked as far as dish detergent, paper towels, hand and dish towels, and more dishes to accommodate families during their stay. These are the basic items needed when checking into a unit that provides a kitchen. I would definitely return, but...

「This is the second time we have stayed at the Grand Dunes. We were there one year ago, liked the property and returned this year. It had an old time style from the lobby to the rooms. This year we found the room to be quite neglected. The items we noted were as follows: The shower door would not close and had about a 6" gap. The iron had the pointed end broken completely off.
