「Warm, friendly welcome by the owner. As it turned out, we were the only visitors staying in the hotel, so had a nice opportunity for a chat over a beer - well stocked with what appeared to be the full range of bottled beers from Purple Moose Brewery of Porthmadog. 「I stayed for one nite in room 3 top floor. It’s situated at rear so away from Main Street at front , therefore so quiet . Lovely room , my gut feeling is the breakfast would be great , but I had to leave early so unfortunately can’t comment . Parking for my motorbike was easy and also at rear. Would definitely stay here again . 」

「Fabulous hosts and really accommodating. Our day didn’t go exactly to plan and they were more than happy to delay our dinner a little bit. Cream tea on arrival was lovely. The packed lunch made for us to take up Snowdon was just what we needed and the dinner on our return (although we were 20-30 minutes late) went down well. After climbing a mountain, the bed was so comfortable and we slept so well. We will definitely be going back. 」
