Room was clean, furniture very old but lovely. Breakfast was excellent even though there is no cooked option. "A classy hotel, comfortable and spotlessly clean room with kettle, coffee and teabags to make own drink. Lovely bathroom with handy extras like hod quality toiletries and non-slip bathmat. Fantastic breakfast with a huge choice, perfect for me as a vegan. The chickpeas in smoky tomato sauce were especially delicious. All staff were friendly and helpful, especially on reception when arranging a car to the airport. I was with friends and there were spaces to meet as a group which we appreciated. All staff were smartly dressed (this is rare in England); everywhere in the hotel was pristine, for example, brass and glass polished and shining. Everything was of a very high standard, highly recommended. "
