The house was beautiful. We did have to drive for any dining options or grocery stores but it was worth it. The size of the house was nice, the views were amazing, the amenities and the bathroom were perfect. The only downside was that use of the hot tub was an extra $200 usd which seems like a lot for something that should be included with the house.

Loved my stay here! Although I traveled solo, there is sufficient room for a large family/group. The view of the fjord is extraordinary, and I found myself sitting and watching the beautiful wildlife for hours. The adjustable LED lighting in the kitchen/living room area is a very nice touch, and there are separate indirect heating thermostats to control different parts of the home. The houseboat is situated in a perfect location for driving out of Esturoy and visiting places like Gjógv, Slættaratindur, or many other places of interset for visitors. While nice and secluded, the nearest grocery or Rusan's is only ~16-20 minutes away.
