「There was a long wait for check-in, as no one was stationed at the front desk. Their server didn’t show up for breakfast. Some of the hotel was a little dated and the updated portions were not done professionally. I pay a little extra to stay at Hilton with the expectation it will be a little nicer and a better experience than the average. Also, personal pet peeve but no exhaust fans in the bathroom which is nice to have when staying with a family. Not a terrible stay but just disappointed.」

「The location is fantastic! Overall, it is a nice hotel. A super unique feature is the large number of bicycles available for guests to use, which is fantastic since you are so close to the lakefront and the river. The value of the room is definitely the location. Unfortunately, if you are allergic to animals, this is not the hotel to stay in. We had to cut our anniversary weekend short due to an allergy and asthma flareup. We asked if we could be moved to a floor that had never had animals on...
