「Inexpensive hotel right in the heart of Ioannina. The PLUS is they have their own private parking lot— worth the $ right there. Good signage directing you as well. Lady at front desk was so friendly and helpful. Elevator/ lift is very small, so could be a problem if there were lots of people waiting. Nice lighting in room. Windows had a metal pull-down shade as well as curtains— nice blackout for those that like that.」

He kindly provided the idea to park our car in Vikos village and arranged taxi to pick us up from there and take us to Monodendri to start the Vikos Gorge hike. 「We got to stay in their treehouse! It was clean and had nice views. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. We had 2 meals here and they were delicious, too. I would stay here again. 」
