「The floors were very sandy. I just checked my credit card and I was charged $200.00 for the pet fee that I was quoted $100.00. Their dog park was full of holes and tall weeds. I asked when they were going to cut the tall weeds and 5 days later the weeds all around the hotel still hadn’t been cut. For a Marriott that place needed a lot of maintenance work inside and outside. The breakfast was okay and the clean up ladies were very nice.」

「The hotel was a cute experience and definitely had a lot of amenities, although it seemed like they shoved in too many in no discernible order. With that being said, the staff was friendly and I did appreciate the sauna! I think this hotel is definitely more suitable for couples or friends traveling versus families, but it's a great little spot!」

「The room was comfortable overall, but there was noticeable dust on some of the furniture, and the coffee machine could have been cleaned more thoroughly. The washrooms were in decent condition, though they appeared to need better maintenance. On the positive side, the hotel is very close to the beach, and the views were beautiful. Since we were only staying for one night, it worked well for our needs. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with a great location.」

「I didn't like that the tub didn't drain and water backed up 3" while taking a quick shower also didn't like the bathroom exhaust fan didn't work.」

「Great Stay! I was a little concerned with past reviews but figured out that the bad reviews were from the previous hotel. This is a newly taken over Home 2 and what you’d expect from a great Hilton family! It is exactly what we were looking for! Beautiful Oceanfront room with a balcony, kitchenette and easy parking! Room was clean and staff was amazing! We will be back anytime we are in the Outer Banks area!」

「We are just crazy about Cypress House. The property is unique as are the proprietors. They are very helpful, funny, everyone of their dining suggestions were spot on., and as good as our meals were, breakfast was the best meal of the day.
