「The hotel has a beautiful view, and from the patio you can enjoy a wide view of the lake. The whole property feels very quiet, safe, and peaceful, and it was even nice to take a walk outside at night. The bathtub was incredibly large, bigger than any hotel bathtub I have ever seen, even bigger than the one at my home, and soaking in it was amazing. 「We had an amazing stay at The Martinsburg! We spent two days here and it was the perfect Hill Country getaway. The cabin is beautiful, modern, and extremely well kept. You can tell a lot of thought went into the design and details to make the stay comfortable and relaxing. The location is fantastic — peaceful and surrounded by the rolling hills, yet still very close to Fredericksburg and several great wineries. 「The kitchen had plates, cups, silverware, a microwave, fridge, and stove. There was one shower. The other (master) bedroom had a jetted tub. The toilets are elongated, which is a personal preference. The one was older, do I had to wiggle the handle to make sure it didn't stick running. The staff was very friendly.」
