「The house is beautiful with nice furniture and a great outdoor space. But most people will want the negatives so here goes. The AC doesn’t keep up and is set at 69 degrees but the temp in the house especially upstairs stayed between 74-77. Too hot for me to sleep. There was construction going on at the house next door so you woke up to that at 8 during the week. Not that big of a deal, minor inconvenience. Here’s the real fun. 「Ok, so here's the thing. We didn't actually stay at Poipu shores. I've toured the property, it is lovely, and I will certainly rebook there !! But, there was maintenance being done to the property that meant it wasn't available. Castle management (thank you, Maile!!! you are amazing!!!!) reached out to me before the trip, and booked us in a phenomenal unit with their sister property, right down the road. 10/10, would absolutely recommend 」

「Excellent location to enjoy Poipu area, easily walkable to beach ( uphill return). We needed to keep front door open to get cool breeze into apartment. Would have appreciated aircon, however did know in advance that there wasn’t any. Property is well maintained including the pool and spa. Enjoy watching turtles in the surf! Would stay again. 」
