「Great pool great beach great location」

「We stayed for three nights with our 1 year old baby. The staff are excellent, so welcoming, and attentive and really enjoyed playing with our son. We had a sea view room, the view is beautiful, and the bathroom and shower were excellent - you can see the sea from the shower! The staff provided a lovely wooden cot which was perfect for our son. The cot fit next to the bed and the bed’s mosquito net covered the cot. Breakfast was lovely, and the staff were very accommodating of our child’s needs....

「Probably the best location, right in front of the main entrance to the beach, and from the balcony we get a full view of Mirissa beach. We were on the 3rd floor.」

「Nice view thru window. Close to the beach, good for sunset view. Anyone can go without a charge. Clean room and supplied cookers as home stay. Dining market at beach 2km away. Bike rental friendly, five minutes walking to the rental and take me back to hotel after returning. Half hour driving to dock for wacthing whales」

「We stayed here for a night & checked out early in the next day for whale watching. Breakfast for taken away was only biscuit and 2 bananas. Location is good and near to beach. Room was comfortable with hot shower. Hotel staffs were nice but poor communication between them. We called the hotel the day before we check-in and asked for an extra room for our driver, the staff told us we could pay a bit more and would arrange it for us. However, when we checked-in in the evening, the reception knew...

「Das kleine sehr nette Hotel hat eine wirklich super Lage direkt am Meer und zusätzlich noch einen Pool direkt am Meer. Das Personal ist wirklich sehr freundlich und das Essen ist sehr gut. Zu Fuß erreicht man alles was man braucht, Lokale und Geschäfte. Wir können das Neevana unbedingt empfehlen.」

「Our 7 days at DCanal were lovely, it’s very peaceful, tucked away in the back streets. The free tuk tuk service to the town was very helpful. The pool, the staff, and the beaches nearby were a wonderful place to unplug. 」

「Nice place to stay. Comfortable clean rooms. I thought for this price they may make the beds. I also asked for a special request that the said they could do, but they didnt end up doing it... It was flowers on the bed for my girlfriends birthday. Then we asked if we could have one more breakfast as we were still hungry as compensation for not having power for the day and then they said no, which wasnt a big deal. Just thought they may do that. The serving staff were very nice.」

「Excellent location (right inside Galle Fort) and value for money. The owners were really welcoming, nice and helpful. B&B located in a smaller street of the Fort, thus providing calm. Room with a large bed, A/C, mosquito net and small balcony. We definitely recommend it! We got our breakfast in another hostel managed by the owners.」

「Courteous staff, a quiet, comfortable room and super catering in a superbly fitted out property made this a fantastic stay! Okay, so someone had stolen the TV (joking; there isn’t one in the room, but there is fast, free wifi), but if you want to be in the centre of the Galle Fort action, I reckon few properties can beat this one!」
