「Found out the day before we were supposed to travel that the hotel is currently closed for construction. Hotel didn’t respond to messages or phone calls. Expedia were extremely unhelpful so we had to book an alternative hotel ourselves and hope we can get a refund after. We ended up staying in a hotel right across the road from Santa Maria and it is a building site. 」

「Walking into a black hole called reception is not welcoming.only light was behind reception. Cooked breakfast was cold both days. Room very nice, staff very nice.」
