"Aside from the hosts, this stay was the low point of our trip. The first indicator of things to come was when I made my reservation, I couldn't use my free night. When I spoke with the owner, she was offended that I tried to use a hotels.com free night award at her B&B...in fact, she refused to honor it. Fast-forward to our arrival and check-in was awkward; the parking lot is on one end of the house and you have to walk the length of the inn on an old sidewalk to get to reception...it was...

"The Meritage cottage was comfortable and well-appointed. We loved having this as an option during our holiday and will use this as our ‘go to’ plan for Thanksgiving going forward. "
