"We enjoyed our stay at Thali Thali which was peaceful and quiet. The staff were especially friendly, welcoming and very responsive. Our accommodation was comfortable but some of the fixtures and fittings could probably do with refurbishment. All in all a very happy stay. "

"This is definitely a good place to stay, our room was on the beach side of the property and has really a quirky type of architecture, which gives it charm. Listening to the waves crash against the shore was soothing. Our bed came with three blankets which I thought was a little odd, but during the night it became a little chilly and I was happy to have the extra blankets. "This guest house is fabulous and much more interesting than chain hotels. It maybe old but it is full of character and decorated with interesting art, everything works and all mod cons are available. The people were so friendly and helpful too, we had a great holiday."

"We were upgraded to the family room, which was great, the only concern was going up and down the steep staircase having to access the kitchen and bathroom, and there is no TV in the bedroom. Something I did not see mentioned in the reviews I looked at was that the nearest shops are 20km away, in Ysterfontein."
