「We spent the day in Apple Hill, and checked in at 3:30. We walked up and down the quaint Main Street of Placerville, and had dinner at a restaurant that was recommended by the hotel. Dinner at Brick's was yummy, and a short stroll from the Hotel. We slept well and got up and went to coffee at Cuppa in the morning. The only small issue we had was the trash being collected at 5:30 am, (This is a city issue, not hotel) Enjoy your stay」

「Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere every time I visit Rest. The wine hour and breakfast are great. We always eat at Taste which is excellent. The immediate area is historic and closed down. It’s a great place to stay after a day of wine tasting and exploring the historical towns nearby. 」

「Nice and clean. The food was excellent. The staff is also great. The chef Eric and Manager was amazing!!」

「Wow! The perfect place for a romantic getaway! The grounds and rooms are just gorgeous with spectacular views. The breakfast was the best! So delicious! We just loved the pool with a waterfall and slide. Every touch was amazing - super comfy bed, robes, arriving with the mini fridge already cool, wine glasses and pool towels ready. Our only regret was not booking another night. Can’t wait to return!!」

「The house is an excellent rental with a fabulous view. It is very comfortable and is more spacious than the photos convey. We will stay here again when visiting our family. 」

「Comfy cabin with large deck. We enjoyed sitting outside in the quiet evenings. Comfortable beds, but thin, steep stairs going to second floor. Only half-bath upstairs but two full baths downstairs. Good variety of games to play, adequate dishes, and a Keurig coffee maker. Grocery store a mile nearby. Owner very good communication. 」

「This property is nice just need to before renting check everything is functional, coffee machine was broken no hot water in the shower master shower back door lock was broken, just those details, in general was a good experience.」

「Great clean and comfortable house. We will definitely stay again when we come back. Everything was easy to use and had everything we needed for our quick weekend trip. Only drawback is the extremely steep driveway. If there is snow, I don't know how anyone would get up that driveway and there is no other area to park if you can't make it up. Just be cautioned if trying to go during inclement weather. 」

「Wonderful house, we liked it a lot. Great location and nice property, hostess was nice and responded quickly to messages. House is nicely furnished as well. Only complaint is that it wasn't very clean when we arrived (kitchen dirty, we had to clean bathtub multiple times before using, floor was dirty). Overall a fantastic stay though, I would recommend this house for a quiet get away」
