"Fire alarm malfunctions keeping us up until 3:30 am and lack of secure doors were only issues, staff and everything else was great"

"The first room we were given smelled horrible, like a dead animal. The hallway was fine, it was just that room. We went to the front desk and the very nice gentleman immediately gave us a new room, which was fine. "

"The public areas on the first floor were under major renovation. The check in area was a construction jobsite. There was no warning of this on the Hotels.com website. Hotels.com should do better. That said, once over the shock of checking in onto a construction site the staff was great. Very accommodating, friendly and professional. Outside of the construction work the hotel was excellent and we had a nice stay."
