"I didn’t like that The Cate House is set up to receive electronic funds. I paid online through Expedia and they didn’t receive the funds and therefore, I had to pay using my debit card. Additionally, the food was as not good. We believe they changed chefs because during our last visit, the food was very good. That’s the reason we chose to return in 2026."

"When I got to the property I met a drunk looking and dirty gate keeper who’s first statement to me was in broken English saying “Room don finish” meaning we do not have vacancy. I responded nah I already booked online. The dirty gate keeper told me “bro do not argue with me”. I insisted to go in and talk to someone behind a desk. The gate keeper walked in with me and the lady I assume is one behind the seat was not behind any desk rather she was running down the stairs and started horse playing...
